Position Overview
You will report directly to the Director, Channel Sales in Japan, supporting sales efforts by coordinating logistics for all phases of Partner related Events. Collaborate with Solution Providers to increase level of understanding of Autodesk Business Transition Initiative, Industry Events and driving Enablement through collaboration with Partner Sales Managers. Coordinate facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements. Provide on-site event support
Responsibilities
- Work with internal clients (Japan Sales Team, Channel Sales team, Commercial Customer Success team) to coordinate logistics for Partner related Events. Collaborate with clients on event timeline, intention of show, messaging, staffing, booth design, graphics, collateral and literature.
- Work with clients to create yearly event plan based on Business plans and budget and geared towards achieving sales goals. Manage budgets and ensure events stay within budget. Advise clients on selection of events to fit Business strategy.
- Keep and maintain master plan. Update plan and share with event participants. Hold regular team meetings to facilitate communication and clarify roles and logistics. May also create intranet site to share plan and updates.
- Research potential event locations and conduct site inspections. Evaluate alternatives and recommend options to internal clients.
- Manage event and enablement set-up and tear down at event site. Troubleshoot booth logistics throughout event. Host pre-event meeting at site to manage last minute details and logistics.
- Work as a hub to coordinate all logistics to support content for event. Be a liaison with creative communications, sales, sales engineers, PR, direct marketing, and sometimes R & D. Responsible for all event logistics and success of show
- Schedule identified speakers for events. Negotiate with third-party vendors including hotels, conference centers, equipment suppliers, entertainment, and caterers. Work with Purchasing to negotiate and draw up contracts. May also negotiate with other companies (such as hardware companies) to create event partnerships or sponsorships.
- Order collateral from internal or external design groups and ensure collateral is produced and shipped to event site. May use external production company to create appropriate graphics and other show materials
- Work with client on whom to invite to event and how to invite them. Work with Direct Marketing to create marketing campaign, event invitations and appropriate lead forms
- Create and deploy event evaluation surveys and debrief meetings. Evaluate events in order to improve future shows. Create executive debrief for internal team members

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above preferably in a related field of study
- More than 5 years in a Marketing role for managing Events
- Strong communication skill with customer and 3rd party vendor
- High fluent in Japanese ability, reading, writing, speaking and daily conversation ability in English.
