The University of Central Florida, UCF Academic Calendar 2024-2025 has important dates and deadlines you need to check out. UCF’s registration system allows students to enroll for the entire upcoming academic year (3 semesters).

During each academic semester, registration is held for all new, currently enrolled, degree-seeking, and nondegree-seeking students for the following term. Registration sessions consist of Registration and Late Registration (held during the first week of classes each term).

Multiple term registration begins following the mid-term of the spring semester for the following summer, fall, and spring terms. Class listings are available only online through the Class Schedule Search at my.ucf.edu.

The dates and times for each registration period are included in the UCF Academic Calendar 2024-2025.

UCF academic calendar fall 2024

On the UCF Fall 2024 calendar, UCF Fall semester begins on Monday, August 19, 2024. Below are more important dates and deadlines on the UCF academic calendar for the fall semester of 2024.

  1. International Doctoral Applicants’ deadline is Friday, December 1, 2023.
  2. The deadline for International Masters Applicants is Monday, January 15, 2024.
  3. For Undergraduate International Applicants, the Application Completion Deadline is Friday, March 1, 2024, according to UCF academic calendar 2024-2025.
  4. Enrollment Appointment Date and Time for Fall 2024 is available on myUCF starting Monday, March 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
  5. Registration on myUCF for Fall 2024 runs from Thursday, March 28, 2024, to Sunday, August 18, 2024.
  6. Faculty must submit Textbook Orders for First Day Inclusive Access for Fall 2024 (Session 1) by Friday, April 26, 2024.
  7. The Application Completion Deadline for New Undergraduate Freshman Applicants is Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
  8. The Faculty Orders for Textbooks Fall 2024 (Session 1) deadline is Thursday, June 20, 2024.
  9. Undergraduate students must submit Graduation Applications for Session 1 between Monday, June 24, 2024, and Friday, August 2, 2024.
  10. Graduate students must submit Graduation Applications for Session 1 between Monday, June 24, 2024, and Friday, October 11, 2024.
  11. New Undergraduate Transfer Applicants must complete their applications by Monday, July 1, 2024.
  12. Readmission applications are due by Monday, July 1, 2024.
  13. Graduate Programs without a deadline require applications by Monday, July 1, 2024.
  14. The final day to submit Doctoral committee/candidacy forms to the College of Graduate Studies for Session 1 is Friday, August 2, 2024.
  15. The final day to submit the thesis committee forms to the College of Graduate Studies for Session 1 is Friday, August 2, 2024.
  16. UCF Fall 2024 Move-In Dates, by appointment only are on Thursday, August 15, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), Friday, August 16, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), and Saturday, August 17, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). According to the UCF academic calendar for housing 2024, On-campus housing (move in day) will be available from Thursday, August 15, 2024, to Saturday, August 17, 2024.
  17. Registration for UCF Employees and UCF Employees’ Spouses and Dependents (Session 1) begins on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
  18. Registration for State Employees, UCFAA Employees, Non-Degree holders, Transients, and Auditors (Session 1) starts on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
  19. Registration for Senior Citizen Audits (Session 1) begins at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024.
  20. UCF Fall 2024 Classes start on Monday, August 19, 2024. It is the first day of classes for Fall 2024, according to the UCF academic calendar 2024-2025.
  21. Faculty must confirm Academic Activity in Each Class for Session 1 between Monday, August 19, 2024, and Friday, August 23, 2024.
  22. Late Registration on myUCF for Session 1 is open from Monday, August 19, 2024, to Friday, August 23, 2024.
  23. The last day to Drop and Request a Full Refund for Session 1 is Friday, August 23, 2024.
  24. The Drop/Swap Deadline on myUCF for Session 1 is Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
  25. The Add Deadline on myUCF for Session 1 is Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
  26. Tuition and Fee Payment Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, August 30, 2024.
  27. Housing Payment is due by Friday, August 30, 2024.
  28. Labor Day falls on Monday, September 2, 2024, with no classes scheduled.
  29. According to the UCF academic calendar for spring 2025, the enrollment appointment date and Time for Spring 2025 (Session 1) will be available on myUCF starting Monday, October 14, 2024.
  30. The Financial Aid Deferral Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, October 25, 2024.
  31. Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Format Review Deadline for Session 1 is also Friday, October 25, 2024.
  32. The Second Installment of Tuition Payment Plan Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, October 25, 2024.
  33. The UCF Homecoming Game vs Brigham Young University is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024.
  34. The Last Day to Reinstate Drop for Nonpayment Classes Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, November 1, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
  35. The Withdrawal Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
  36. Registration on myUCF for Spring 2025 begins on Monday, November 4, 2024, according to the UCF academic calendar 2024-2025.
  37. The Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Defense Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, November 8, 2024.
  38. Veterans Day is observed on Monday, November 11, 2024, with no classes scheduled.
  39. The Financial Aid Award/Adjustments Repayment Deadline for Course Withdrawal for Session 1 is Friday, November 22, 2024.
  40. The VA/GI Bill Deferral Payment Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, November 22, 2024.
  41. The Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Final Submission Deadline for Session 1 is Friday, November 22, 2024.
  42. Fall 2024 Classes End on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. This is also the Last Day to Remove Incompletes for Session 1.
  43. The grade Forgiveness Deadline on myUCF for Session 1 is Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:59 p.m, according to UCF academic calendar 2024-2025.
  44. UCF Thanksgiving break 2024 is from Wednesday, November 27, 2024, to Saturday, November 30, 2024, and no classes are scheduled.
  45. The Final Examination Period for Session 1 is from Monday, December 2, 2024, to Saturday, December 7, 2024.
  46. On-Campus Housing Closes on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
  47. Grades Due in myUCF for Session 1 is noon on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
  48. The Degree Conferral Date for Session 1 is Friday, December 13, 2024.
  49. Grades will be processed as available and final at 9 a.m. on myUCF for Session 1 on Friday, December 13, 2024,according to UCF academic calendar 2024-2025.
  50. Commencement for Session 1 is from Friday, December 13, 2024, to Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Here are important dates and deadlines on the UCF academic calendar for the Spring semester of 2025.

  1. The deadline for International Graduate Applicants is Monday, July 1, 2024.

  18. With no classes scheduled, Martin Luther King Jr. Day falls on Monday, January 20, 2025.
  19. The schedule of classes for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 is available on Monday, March 10, 2025.
  20. The second Installment of the Tuition Payment Plan Deadline for Spring 2025 is Friday, March 14, 2025.
  21. UCF Spring Break 2024 is from Monday, March 17, 2025, to Saturday, March 22, 2025. Classes resume on Monday, March 24, 2025.
  22. Registration by Appointment and Add/Drop for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 begins on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
  23. Founder’s Day Honors Convocation,with classes still held, is on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
  24. The Spring 2025 final Examination Period for Spring 2025 is from Wednesday, April 23, 2025, to Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
  25. On-Campus Housing Closes for Spring 2025 on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
  26. The Degree Conferral Date for Spring 2025 is Thursday, May 1, 2025.
  27. UCF’s Graduation and Commencement ceremonies for Spring 2025 will be held from Thursday, May 1, 2025, to Saturday, May 3, 2025.
  28. Grades Due in myUCF for Spring 2025 are on Thursday, May 1, 2025, by noon.
  29. Grades will be available on myUCF for Spring 2025 on Friday, May 2, 2025, at noon.
